The best membership platforms for yoga teachers in 2026, compared

Updated · 9 min read

The short answer

The best membership platform for a yoga teacher depends on how you teach. Solo teachers mixing live Zoom classes, class packs and an on-demand library usually choose OfferingTree (from US$26 a month billed yearly) or Marvelous, formerly Namastream (from US$66 a month billed yearly, with no revenue fees); Uscreen suits large video libraries with apps, and Momence or Mindbody suit studios adding online classes. Launch with Voyage (us) is the partner option: a branded membership built and grown for you, with no monthly fee and a share of sales from 10%.

What a yoga membership has to do

A platform that suits a strength coach can be the wrong fit for a yoga teacher. Before you compare prices, list what you actually teach. For most it’s some mix of these:

  • Live classes. A weekly flow on Zoom or a livestream is still the heart of many yoga memberships, and students expect the replay.
  • An on-demand library students can filter by style, length and level: a 10-minute morning flow, an hour of yin, a beginner series.
  • Series and programs. Yoga With Adriene’s Find What Feels Good app is a good model. Its App Store listing describes more than 900 videos and 3-day, 7-day and 30-day series, at US$12.99 a month or US$129.99 a year in the US store.
  • Class packs and drop-ins for students who won’t commit to a subscription, often alongside in-person classes.
  • Courses and community for workshops, retreats and teacher trainings.
  • An app, because the phone sits on the mat beside them.

No platform does all six equally well, so decide which two or three matter most.

How we compared them

Every figure comes from the platform’s own website, in US dollars. Platforms with a comparison page on our site use the figures we checked on 8 October 2026; the rest were checked on 13 October 2026. Prices change often, so check the date on any roundup you read. Card processing (Stripe’s standard US rate is 2.9% + 30¢) applies everywhere and is left out unless it differs.

What it costs at 150 members

Here’s an illustrative example: 150 members paying US$25 a month, so US$3,750 in monthly sales, on monthly billing and before card fees.

Platform and plan Platform cost a month
Marvelous Solo US$125
Kajabi Basic US$179
OfferingTree Pro with the branded app US$179 (US$59 + US$120)
A 10% share (Patreon, Clubb, or Voyage’s starting rate) US$375
Uscreen Growth US$448 (US$149 + 150 × US$1.99)
Uscreen App Essentials, billed yearly US$598 (US$449 + 150 × US$0.99)

On fees alone, a flat monthly plan is cheaper at this size, and the gap widens as you grow. A revenue share has to earn its keep through the work around the software: design, build, an app and marketing. Revenue share vs monthly fee has the break-even maths, the membership revenue calculator runs it at your own numbers, and how much to charge for a fitness membership helps set the price.

The platforms, one by one

1. OfferingTree

Best for: solo teachers who teach live, in person or on Zoom, and want booking, class packs and an on-demand library in one place.

OfferingTree is booking and website software built for yoga and wellness teachers. The plan for individuals starts at US$35 a month, or US$26 billed yearly, with a 2.9% transaction fee on top of card processing. Pro (US$59, or US$49 billed yearly) drops that fee to 0%, which makes it the cheaper plan once you sell more than about US$830 a month: the extra US$24 equals 2.9% of US$830. Every plan includes a website on your own domain, Zoom integration, an unlimited on-demand library, and unlimited memberships and packages, and OfferingTree says you can build video libraries, courses and challenges on any plan.

A branded app in the App Store and Google Play is an add-on at US$120 a month, or US$100 billed yearly. The marketing is yours to run.

2. Marvelous (formerly Namastream)

Best for: teachers who teach mostly live and want an all-in-one platform with no revenue share.

Namastream, a streaming platform built for yoga teachers, is now called Marvelous, and namastream.com redirects to it. Plans cost US$79, US$125 and US$179 a month, or US$66, US$104 and US$149 a month paid yearly, and Marvelous says it takes no transaction or revenue fees; Stripe or PayPal processing still applies.

It covers what yoga teachers sell: livestreamed and Zoom classes with replays, ClassCards (a digital punch card, in 5, 10 or 20 classes, say), drip-fed courses, private podcasts and community groups. Two limits are worth checking. Essentials allows 10 uploaded videos (embeds are unlimited), so a real library needs Solo or above. And its own livestreaming is counted in participant-minutes: Marvelous’s example is 20 people in a 30-minute class using 600 minutes, against 1,000 to 2,000 minutes a month on its comparison table. A weekly hour-long class with 25 students uses about 6,000 a month. Group classes on your own paid Zoom account don’t count against those minutes. A Marvelous mobile app is listed in beta, and the pricing page doesn’t mention a store listing under your name.

3. Uscreen

Best for: teachers whose library is the product, especially with apps on phones and TVs.

Uscreen is a video membership platform popular with yoga and fitness instructors. Plans run from US$49 to US$499 a month. The US$49 Starter plan caps you at 100 subscribers on a Uscreen-branded domain. Growth (US$149) adds US$1.99 a month for each active subscriber, and App Essentials, from US$449 a month billed yearly, charges US$0.99 and includes your own iOS and Android apps. TV apps need a custom plan. Livestreaming is built in (Uscreen says one live hour is included), and you can gate Zoom links to members.

Model the per-subscriber fee before you choose: at 300 members on Growth it adds about US$597 a month on top of the plan. Uscreen is built around a video catalogue rather than a class timetable. Uscreen compared with Voyage.

4. Momence

Best for: studios with an in-person timetable that want to add livestreams and an on-demand library.

Momence, now part of Xplor, is studio software for booking, payments and marketing. Its yoga page says you can livestream classes and build an on-demand library, sold as its own tier or bundled into a membership, alongside memberships, class packs, course series and teacher-training bundles. Students use the free Momence app, and a custom-branded app is optional. Momence doesn’t publish prices; its pricing page asks you to talk to sales, though its yoga page says it “starts free” for small studios.

5. Mindbody

Best for: established studios that want new students from a booking marketplace.

Mindbody, now owned by Playlist, is the long-standing studio management system. Its FAQ gives a starting price of US$79 a month per location in North America and Asia, and every plan includes a listing on the Mindbody app, which it says reaches more than 3 million active users. Video is extra: livestreaming from US$49 a month and on-demand video at US$99 a month. A branded app is an add-on on the Core and Growth plans. It’s a lot of system for a solo online teacher.

6. Mighty Networks

Best for: teacher trainings and memberships built around community.

Mighty Networks combines community, courses, challenges, events and livestreaming, from US$79 to US$354 a month billed yearly plus 0.5% to 2% of sales. It suits a teacher training or practice community. It has no workout tools, so classes go in as course content, and members use the shared Mighty app unless you’re on Mighty Pro, from US$17,000 a year. Mighty Networks compared with Voyage.

7. Kajabi

Best for: teacher trainings and workshops sold as courses, by teachers happy to build and market them.

Kajabi costs US$179 to US$499 a month (US$143 to US$399 billed yearly) and takes no share of sales. It’s strong on courses, email and sales pages, but classes go in as course lessons, its Basic plan allows 2,500 contacts, and a branded mobile app comes only with Pro. Kajabi compared with Voyage, or see our Kajabi alternatives for fitness creators.

8. Patreon

Best for: the quickest way to take monthly support from students who already follow you.

Patreon is free to start and keeps 10% of membership income for creators who launched after 4 August 2025, plus payment processing (2.9% + 30¢ for a US card). Members watch through Patreon and its app rather than one under your name, and with no program tools a series becomes a run of posts. It’s a low-risk way to find out whether students will pay. Patreon compared with Voyage.

9. Clubb

Best for: a branded app you set up and market yourself.

Clubb is membership software for food and fitness creators, with programs, challenges and video workouts you can cast to a TV, and a native iOS and Android app branded as you. It charged 10% of revenue with no upfront cost when we checked on 8 October 2026. Its creator agreement says the percentage is set when you register, and its own yoga roundup from May 2025 mentions a minimum of US$89 a month, so confirm your terms before you sign. The setup and marketing are yours to run. Clubb compared with Voyage.

10. Launch with Voyage (us)

Best for: established teachers who want a branded membership and app built, launched and grown with a partner.

We’re one of the options here. Voyage, a product and growth agency in New Zealand, launches a creator’s own membership on the Voyage membership platform: day-by-day programs and challenges, a video library, and live classes as an add-on, streamed from your phone or laptop with each replay saved behind the membership. There’s no monthly fee and no setup fee. We take a share of sales from 10%, agreed before launch, Stripe’s card fees apply, and members pay into your own Stripe account. A native app under your name is an add-on. If most of your income is in-studio classes booked by the spot, a booking tool such as OfferingTree, Momence or Mindbody is the better core.

Questions

Something we haven’t covered? Ask us on a call.

What is the best membership platform for yoga teachers?
It depends on how you teach. Solo teachers mixing live Zoom classes, class packs and an on-demand library usually choose between OfferingTree and Marvelous (formerly Namastream). Teachers whose library is the product choose Uscreen, and studios add online classes through Momence or Mindbody. If you would rather have a partner build, launch and grow a branded membership with no monthly fee, Launch with Voyage takes a share of sales from 10%.
Can I sell class packs and a membership on the same platform?
Yes, on most yoga-focused platforms. OfferingTree includes memberships and packages on every plan, Marvelous has a ClassCard product for class packs, and Momence handles memberships, class packs and course series. Video-first platforms such as Uscreen are built around a subscription to a video catalogue.
Do I need my own app for a yoga membership?
Not to launch. A membership website works on every phone, and sign-ups on the web carry no app store commission. Teachers usually add an app once students practise with them every week: OfferingTree sells a branded app add-on from US$100 a month billed yearly, Uscreen includes apps from US$449 a month billed yearly, and Voyage builds one as an add-on.
